[[File:Electra.png|thumb|Electra Dynamic's logo (Temporary, pending rework)]]
Power generation giant within Trans-Solarian Federation space Electra Dynamics has had a long and eclectic history. Originating from Earth and predating Nanotrasen by a number of years, Electra Dynamics upholds a long standing and almost unbreakable foundation on Terra in the Sol system. Back in the days of its youth, Electra Dynamics worked alongside Nanotrasen to help resolve the global energy crisis, as well as the climate crisis on Earth to ensure the longevity of the planet.

After cosigning a deal (the Global Power Initiative) Electra Dynamics and Nanotrasen worked together to resolve both the Global Energy and Climate crisis on Earth in the youth of it's space pioneering era. In those days, the two companies were relatively even matched, Electra Dynamics having its elder experience giving it the slight edge despite Nanotrasen's then more global coverage of power plants. After five hundred years of expansion and history however, Electra Dynamics have becoming the reigning champions of TSF space, supplying the majority of power generation to the entire faction. Further to that, the events of those years have proven that their relationship with Nanotrasen was never set to stand the test of time. Their amassed wealth, power and history with Earth's government has solidified them a longstanding relationship with the Federation's central government, granting them a few perks of the position including a number of private seats amongst the Federation Government's parliament.

With an incredibly colourful history, comes a very heart-on-its-sleeve company. Electra Dynamics is a power company that knows it has power. It trades at the highest levels, supplying power to Federation owned settlement in strictly Federation organised contracts. It works closely with all those in power to ensure the smoothest growth chain and expansion possible throughout the Federation. It has seats within the Federation's leadership council, and is often a heavy donator in Earth's contributions towards the Federation itself, and it does all of this above board.

What it does beneath the board is often overshadowed and hidden by the power it has within the space it works. As a combination of naught by rumors and stories, many believe that Electra holds immensely close ties with the Syndicate. Many Syndicate events can be somewhat traced back to the company itself, albeit indirectly. Many Syndicate dealing have set to benefit them as a company one way or another, but nothing more obvious as The Syndicate's seemingly primary goal as of recent, deconstruct and destroy Nanotrasen.

During the first, and second Martian War for Independence, Electra had reported major financial sinks and trades during these times, leading some to believe they were behind a majority of Earth's 'war chest'.

== Organisational Structure ==
Electra Dynamics doesn't stray to far from a relatively normal company's infrastructure. Much like Nanotrasen, due to their size in covering most of the TSF space, they split their leadership into two halves, one that oversees the "Corporate" on a galaxy wide level, and many smaller sections that oversee the minutia of small collections of their plants and stations. Unlike Nanotrasen however, the bureaucracy of Electra Dynamics leans harder on automation than manpower, or at least it is so theorized.

Many of those that are reported on the Board of Directors for Electra Dynamics choose to remain anonymous, the only one of them still in the public eye being the CEO, Kian Simmer. Kian overheads Electra with a very handson approach, his management style being one seemingly impossible for one person. Many can identify that the higher you go in Electra's corporate chain, the more "automated" it tends to be. The company is already forthright with it's usage of Cyborgs and AI Silicons when it comes to overseeing stations and paperwork, and some have even attributed many of the higher forces at play in the company to be management AIs. Either way, the company thrives in TSF space, spreading its tendrils far and wide in search and hope of laying as many foundations as possible.

== History ==

==== Present Day ====
Electra Dynamics sole public goal is revolutionizing power generation as a business, as well as supplying it to the masses at the most efficient rate as possible. Where as Nanotrasen do a lot of their material acquisitions themselves, Electra Dynamics source other companies for such tasks, creating a more circular economy in doing so. They're responsible for some of the greatest powers today, namely the PC-TEG or more commonly named Phoron Cycled Thermo-Electric Generator. This foundational piece of Phoron technology was first created almost 500 years ago. Having seen many iterations and perfections over the years, it is still the supreme reign for Electra Dynamics as a power source.

Under the surface however, their private agenda is something a little closer to the shadows. After their distasteful falling out with Nanotrasen many years ago, the two companies have silently been locked in almost endless disputes. Some refer to these as Corp Wars, where as other's don't even know they happen. Given their relative power, both Nanotrasen and Electra dynamics hold the wealth to engage in near-private skirmishes into eachother's territory, out of both the public and governmental eye. Electra, usually through the supplication of Syndicate agents, and Nanotrasen, with their own collection of privately armed and trained army, often find themselves engaging in smaller-scale excursions into each other's properties.

==== Earth's Choice ====
Electra was always Earth's choice when it came to power generation. Founded back in the 1950's, Electra Dynamics first saw the market as a private firm for building and assembling power plants. They'd entered the game during the rise of nuclear power, the first true nuclear reactor being opened only a few years after their foundation. It was after they assisted in the building of a nuclear reactor located in Obinsk, located in what was then the Soviet Union, did Electra find themselves curious to plant their flag more firmly in the ground. Whilst continuing their work as contractors, Electra began their own research into the creation and fabrication of reactors themselves, before, during the turn of the millennium, opening their first commercial power plant on planet Earth, using their own original design. What was referred to then as the E-UFE or Electra Uranium Fission Engine, commercially opened in late August of the year 2000. Whilst being far from the first commercial nuclear power plant, it quickly became the most influential, finding itself to become one of the first nuclear power plants connected to multiple national grids at once. Portions of it's power alone were sold across to various nations, and off the back of their quickly earned profits, Electra set themselves up to quickly open as many E-UFE stations as possible.

==== A Solid Alliance ====
After nearly 70 years of establishing themselves, Electra Dyanmics were industry leaders when it came to power generation across the entirely of Earth. They held strong stakes in many of the governments they worked in, as well as considerable diplomatic power alongside it. When a new and upcoming company came out of the wood works with their own reactor design, based off the E-UFE, and quickly grew to fame because of it, they were the first company to take notice. In a move that started with Electra wanting to buy this up-and-coming company, they reached out to them with the intention of welcoming a new group of people into the fold. What they didn't expect, is for this company to have a headstrong leadership team, and a CEO with their head in the stars for growth. It was a match made in heaven, and the two companies joined as partners, forming the Global Power Initiative, an order to resolve both the Global Energy and Climate crisis all in one fell swoop. This company was, of course, Nanotrasen.
