The metashield rules are a rules page to help you understand what you should and shouldn't know based off of certain information, and the ways you could figure out said information. Items are the things you should not know, and the lift condition is how you would figure out said information in order to tell others.

| Ninja | Discovered visually, not through an announcement |
| Nuclear Operative | War announcements or discovered visually |
| Syndicate Listening Outpost | Exposing their own existence |
| Deathsquad | Discovered visually |
| Syndicate uplink/storage implant | A person not having an item and then suddenly having an item after a search |
| Codes Gamma/Epsilon/Delta | Being a member of command or a dignitary at the time of one of these being called |
| Replicators | 5+ replicators, replicators attacking, and/or noticeable nearby destruction to a replicator |
